Sending An Invoice

Thankfully, many clients accept invoices over e-mail. However, a significant group still prefers paper. We make it as easy to send a paper invoice as it is to send one electronically.

Step 1

Many companies already have their invoices in PDF format, we'll assume that here (if not, the directions are largely similar).

If you are sending an invoice to a regular client, start by creating a mailbox for them.

Step 2

Now, just go to your e-mail account and send the PDF of the invoice to the mailbox you just created.

Step 3

In several minutes, a confirmation e-mail should arrive from Postful. Check the preview to make sure the letter is what you expected. If not, cancel and try again.

If you like what you see, you're done! The invoice will be mailed out automatically.

Now, you can send invoices to this client as easily as e-mail!
