Q: How do I pay for orders?
A: You can either add money to your account in advance or after you've sent letters (you'll be sent a message that you need to add money if your balance is insufficient).
Q: Can I buy a single letter?
A: Yes. While some find it easier to add money to their account, others prefer to pay for letters as they send them.
Q: Can I use a card with an international billing address?
A: Yes. We recommend the use of Google Checkout for international billing addresses. The full list of countries they support is found here.
Q: Why do international orders cost more?
A: All letters are produced in the United States at present. That means we have to pay for international air mail which runs about 50¢ more than domestic postage. However, given the rapidly weakening dollar, favorable exchange rates mostly make up for this difference.
Q: When I create a mailbox, will I be charged for letters that other people send to it?
A: No. You're only charged for letters you send, never for anything sent by others.
Q: Are there any additional charges?
A: No. This price includes everything. Color, first-class postage, photo handling, document proofing--it's all included.
