Production Quality
Our goal is to make sure your letters look better than if you did it yourself. We buy the high-end printers so you don't have to. From paper to ink to envelopes, we take care of the details. Critically, every stage of the production process is designed to ensure both quality and security.
So, what does a printed letter look like?

FAQ
Q: Do you include any branding on letters or envelopes?
A: No. We print nothing except for what you send us. Whether personal or business, letters should come from you, not some service (even one as lovely as ours). But, if you'd like to add a Postful logo to your letters, we won't complain.
Q: What resolution do you print at?
A: 600dpi.
Q: What type of paper do you print on?
A: 24lb, 96 brightness, smooth stock. Our current paper is 50% recycled (post-consumer waste) but we're always looking to improve this.
Q: Are all letters printed in full-color?
A: Yes. You can send photos, color charts and graphs, scans of your art, or whatever else appeals to you.
Q: How long will production take?
A: Your letter will be printed within one business day of its receipt. Letters are dispatched for printing at noon (1200 PDT) Monday through Friday, excluding postal holidays. If you are manually confirming letters, you can do this any time up to the last minute. If you are set to send by default, there is a two hour window built in to allow time to preview letters, so the cutoff time is 1000 PDT.
Q: Where are letters mailed from?
A: All letters are mailed from Los Angeles, CA.
